In response to the emergency facing the region, the Cali Audiovisual Guild has organized to coordinate support efforts for affected individuals, families, and communities.
The Algo en Común Foundation supports this initiative and is making its channels available to facilitate the receipt of donations and assist in resource management.

What are we doing?
A group of audiovisual professionals from Cali and the Valle del Cauca region, including technicians, gaffers, sound engineers, production companies, and coordinators, is making its equipment and labor available at critical locations across the city of Cali.
In their capacity as professionals, they have been responsible for providing:

Filming lights to illuminate rescue zones during periods of low visibility.

Generators to power search sites at night.

Microphone and sound-capture equipment, adapted to help detect signs of life beneath the rubble.
This group has also been managing:

Tools for rescue operations, metal cutting, and wall breaching.

Public address and communication systems. Water and food for rescue workers, volunteers, and affected communities in each area.

Fuel to keep power generators running.

Where Does Your Donation Go?
Life comes first.
As search and rescue operations continue, donations are being directed toward addressing the most urgent needs identified and requested by the sector, including:

Supplies, equipment, and machinery for activities in rescue areas.

Temporary housing.

Psychological support.
-
Food and basic necessities.
-
Hygiene supplies.
-
Medications.
-
Clothing and other essential items.
-
Support for shelters, families, and affected individuals.
By joining forces, we will also be able to deliver aid to other nearby municipalities and regions that have felt the impact just as severely as our city.
What's coming next
As the emergency unfolds, actions will be coordinated to support the recovery of affected individuals and the audiovisual sector.
The resources allocated for this phase will be determined in consultation with the Cali Audiovisual Guild, and their use will be jointly defined by a committee responsible for establishing priorities and support mechanisms.
Support for other affected regions and municipalities will also be coordinated through the guild. The allocation of these resources will be determined based on available funds, identified needs, and agreed-upon priorities, thereby defining where the aid will be directed.
